Our respective technicians at all manufacturing stages, such as fabric testing and printing systems, work simultaneously to flawlessly produce the highest quality garments and the most intricate designs.

''  The fabrics, fabric subtypes, fabric weights and brand logo or print technology used in active wear designs are very different from those used in casual wear. For example, the intended use of fitness leggings and walking leggings are very different. 

' If you choose a polyamide fabric for your leggings with a high elastane content, the brand logo print you apply may not adapt to the stretch of this fabric. If you use the wrong printing technique and material, the logo will come off the fabric in the first wash or when the leggings are worn. '

Unfortunately, at Conbello Textile, we find that garments made by different manufacturers in different countries that our customers send us for testing are not actually made from the fabric listed on the product label. For example, when we analyse the fabric that is claimed to stretch in 4 directions and contain 20% elastane, we unfortunately find that it only stretches in 2 directions and only contains 10% elastane. Another misleading fabric information we often find is the fabric type and weight. For example, a garment labelled as a polyester fabric may actually be a low quality unfinished polyester viscose. This type of fabric will pile very quickly and the colour will fade in the first wash. In addition, because it is not pre-washed, it will shrink a size after washing. We also often see misleading information about fabric weights on labels. For example, a pair of leggings labelled 240 gsm is actually 200 gsm.  '' 

 '' This misrepresentation of fabric is due to two factors. Firstly, some sportswear brands lack the in-depth technical knowledge to spot these discrepancies. Secondly, some manufacturers may deliberately take advantage of this lack of knowledge or, at best, simply lack the experience themselves. ''
