In fact, the technical issues that need to be considered in order to target high quality in the manufacture of sportswear are too complex to be explained in writing. However, we would like to briefly and simply mention it only in outline. Explaining this subject by giving an example for any sportswear may make it more understandable.

Let's take leggings in our example. Let's say you want polyester or polyamide fabric in the manufacture of leggings. And let's say you wanted to use polyester fabric. You even determined the weight of the fabric. Let the fabric weight be 240 Gsm. Have you determined the spandex (elastane) ratio that will give the fabric its elasticity? Let's say the spandex ratio is 15%. According to which criteria did you determine the spandex ratio that will give the polyester fabric its flexibility? Will you use the same spandex ratio for yoga or running? Well, does the spandex ratio you have been told reflect the truth? Unfortunately, we have seen that many products sent by our customers do not have the spandex ratio stated by the manufacturer and that there is a fraudulent nature. 

Let's assume everything is true so far. Is the color fixing finishing process of the fabric completed? If it is a cotton fabric, has anti-pilling treatment been applied? 

Let's assume that everything is perfectly correct so far. Synthetic (polyester-polyamide fabric) fabrics containing high elastane cannot be sewn with the sewing system used in standard cotton fabrics. Even if the pattern of the fabric containing elastane is correct, it should be sewn with a special sewing system and sewing threads. As a result, of course, the leggings will be sewn, but the product will be of too low quality to be sold. In leggings fabrics containing high elastane, the brand logo application system should be chosen correctly and applied with the right system. Otherwise, after a short use or washing, the brand logo will separate from the fabric surface or its color will begin to fade. We did not mention the problems that can be encountered when color fastness and color fixing finishing are not applied to the fabric. Of course, do not forget that we have touched on this technical issue in our other articles.

Unlike cotton, which soaks up perspiration and gets heavier when wet, performance apparel allows moisture to move to the outer layer of the garment and evaporate. The 100% polyester fabric stays light and dry against your skin even as you’re running and working out, decreasing the chances of chafing, something that occurs when wet material rubs against your skin.

Performance fabric t-shirts aren't more expensive than cotton ones, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. Our apparel, made from 100% high-performance fabric, keeps you cool and dry during intense workouts. Unlike cotton, it doesn't cause sweating, giving you a truly impressive performance boost. Because performance fabric is lightweight, screen printing plastisol inks can eliminate the moisture-wicking properties of these special liners. Therefore, we use fully organic water-based printing. Printing large logos across the entire t-shirt can reduce performance. Conbello recommends using smaller logos and using a maximum of three colors, but single-color printing provides the best performance.
